ABOUT ME

Atelier1612 is about living a creative
and compassionate lifestyle

This is a mantra I strive for. It’s what I believe in
and it shows in every projects
and crafts I made.

Hello! I am Alice Koh. I have always been passionate about arts and crafts. I started out as an
interior designer. When digital graphics was introduced to the web, it peeked my interest so
much so that I acquired a bunch of tutorial CDs and learned Adobe Photoshop. Atelier”1612″ was
established in year 2008 when I had the opportunity to design photo albums for an
international print company. 16″x12″ was the dimension of a professional book size which I love to
work with.

I decided to develop a few ready to use photobooks under my own label after many book designs and with several print companies, photographers, schools and individuals, Feel free to get in touch with me to see them.

Websites have always interest me. I enjoy browsing through a good looking one and study how each section relates to another. It is just like creating a book, the focus is to make it attractive so a reader would sit and enjoy every page. In the struggles to find a good web developer to create a website from my vision, I met a young, talented website developer. We decided to combine our talents. That was over 8 years ago and we have developed websites worldwide. My partner has received international recognition in website development. At the bottom of Atelier1612 website is link to some of the work we have done.

Blessed to have a great husband, our love for food, travel, family and grandkids.

Over the years, my work has expended into the areas of rock painting, crafts and succulents arrangements. I have also become more involved in supporting humanitarian aid projects with some proceeds from my sales.

The projects included supporting local charity organizations in countries my husband and I visited under Choices Counseling. At home in Spokane, Washington, we support substance abuse recovery and homeless projects.

Atelier1612 has become a podium where I also journal about places we visited, people we met and the adventures we experienced. Please feel free to contact us during our travel overseas. Maybe we can collaborate and share our expertise with yours to assist in your humanitarian work.
