Coeur d’Alene, Idaho

An easy drive from Spokane, WA to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho took us just under 35 minutes. It was a pleasant day trip to enjoy the beautiful weather, take a stroll in the park and water of the Coeur d’Alene lake. There are many of things to do in the surrounding area but we are taking it really relax today.

After a nice breakfast at the Coeur d’Alene Golf & Spa Resort, we strolled on the world’s longest floating boardwalk. It was completed in April 1985 and is 3,300 feet long with 362 slip marina. I love it there…the blue water, fresh breeze, beautiful white boats and it was a great opportunity for a photo op 😛 Photos below are unfiltered.

After a relaxation stroll on the floating boardwalk, we followed The Mudgy Moose Trail and located five life sized bronze statues that brought us through downtown Coeur d’Alene and into the city park. Each trail sign told a story of how Mudgy is looking for his friend, Millie. We had a fun day.
